Comparability

HME-TWIC Comparability:

Effective Monday, February 27, 2012: The TSA Hazardous Materials Endorsement Security Threat Assessment Program (HTAP) will offer the ability for Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) holders the option to pay a reduced fee when applying for an HME security threat assessment (STA) since the STAs for both programs have been deemed comparable. More details will be provided closer to implementation, including a listing of those States that offer this capability.
