Acceptable Identity and Citizenship Documentation Hazardous Materials Threat Assessment Program (HTAP)

In order to be eligible for a hazardous materials endorsement on a commercial drivers license, an applicant must be a citizen of the United States (or its outlying possessions) or a legal permanent resident (LPR).  The following documents are acceptable identity and citizenship documents when applying with TSA for a hazardous materials endorsement.

Primary Forms of Identification one form is acceptable

Secondary Forms of Identification two documents are required (with one being a government-issued photo ID and one demonstrating citizenship/LPR status)
