My damaged or missing property is critical life-supporting property. How can I get my claim expedited for this reason?

Any property that is considered "life-supporting" such as medical devices, medication, wheelchairs, etc. will be expedited through the claims process. This is done automatically upon receipt of the claim. However, you may wish to note your request for expedited treatment in your claim correspondence. Additionally, you may contact the Claims Management Branch to advise us of your particular situation.

Likewise, any property that is absolutely required in order for a claimant to earn a living will be expedited through the process if requested and approved.
