While RSW Security Manager Bill Intihar is no longer in the U.S. Air Force, his ties to the military and his commitment to public service remain strong.
Over the past five years, the Fort Myers-based Calusa Chapter of the Military Officers Association, of which Intihar is president, has raised $20,000 in scholarships for local high school seniors participating in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. A shrimp boil and a fashion show raised nearly $5,000 this year.
“It is truly gratifying as a retired military officer to be a part of our future military leaders’ education,” said Intihar.
