TSA's Statement on Incident at Indianapolis International Airport

At 5:20 a.m., TSA discovered a bag with a suspect item at the checkpoint in Terminal D. Local law enforcement was contacted and the Metro County EOD team responded to take charge of the suspect bag.

A perimeter was created and passengers were escorted to a safe area outside the terminal. At 6:30 a.m. passengers were allowed to reenter the checkpoint nad normal operations resumed.
